Sunday in the forest

oh boy, I just realized that my last post is from beginning of October. makes me feel bad, because the idea of this blog was to use it as a kind of diary. I DO take photos almost every day.... but then usually dont't find the time to edit them or if I do I only edit the one picture a day I use for flickr. Hopefully I will get better with this in the following months.


today I've been in the forest for a long walk. it was crispy cold yet so incredibly beautiful, sunny and all. such amazing weather for the month of November (November...can you imagine???)
the light was gorgeous and filtered by the trees there were such stunning flares so I couldn't resist to pose the dog for a couple of pics (oh well, in fact I took tons of pictures...)

a foggy beach and dogs

sometimes it happens that you're lucky enough to capture such mysterious light on such a wonderful place. of course it helps to be up early. these images were taken last weekend at a beach in denmark, right when the sun came out and the morningly mist disappeard.

Oh well, I know I've kinda neglected my blog lately (as well as the Nikon). But this morning was simply too perfect to not be captured.  I arrived at the lake (who's actually just next to our property at work) exactly the moment the sun rised up. There was still a bit of mist left and the water was as quiet and reflective as a mirror (until the dog jumped in:-)
It was a moment to hold in and breathe, pure and calm and I couldn't have asked for a better way to start the day.
My shoes were completely soaked from the wet grass when I finally arrived at work but a cup of hot coffee warmed up my body and the lakeside impressions I had in head warmed up my soul.

good bye summer

September Morning

I love autumn!
Those crisp dewey mornings, the sunshine, the mist and most off all the glorious colors. Well, for now the leaves are still green but in only a few week we will be surrounded by the most beautiful shades of yellow, orange and red. Can't wait!!
